COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

COVID-19 Notice:

We are committed to taking all appropriate measures to prevent the spread of this virus while keeping our consumers and employees safe.

To that end, the following measures have been implemented to ensure we are providing a safe environment for our consumers and staff based on the most current recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC):

    A. Posted signs, sent email notifications, and reminder phone calls to self-screen and do not enter facility based on the following criteria from the CDC:

    1.  Are you experiencing mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms of:

      • Fever
      • Cough
      • Shortness of breath

    2.  Have you traveled internationally within the past 14 days?

    3.  Have you had contact with someone that has or is symptomatic of having COVID-19 (coronavirus)?

Consumers, staff or visitors answering positively to any of these criteria are prohibited from entering the building. Call your provider.

    B. Most appointments will be conducted via telework, not face to face, but accommodations will be made for consumers who lack the capacity to conduct telehealth.

    C. Family Counseling Center's main business location at 300 South Jefferson Street and Outpatient satellite in Leechburg will remain open Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Sites may restrict evening hours based on consumer demand.

    D. Nurses who have contact with consumers will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    E. Anyone entering agency buildings must wear a facemask.

We are closely following on a daily basis the CDC guidelines and other sources of recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of this virus. We understand there is a lot of uncertainty during these unprecedented times and that communication is very important. We will continue to provide further updates as more information is available.
